Stocking Up On Liz

With the winter (dare I say it) finally subsiding in the form of snow and weather back to its usual bi-polar self: torrential rain and icy sunshine. I thought I was in need of upping my skincare routine in favour of something a little more nourishing to be prepares for all drastic atmospheric changes.
This time, I'm back to my trusty Liz Earle - I've always had a bottle on the go in my bathroom for when breakouts occur but have never continued to use once things have cleared up. Not knowing how much of this I had left, I went ahead and purchased "January Skincare Essentials Regime" (Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser and a complimentary Gentle Face Exfoliator - Bonus!)
Here's a run down of my morning and evening routine that I've been keeping to this last month:
First I pump Cleanse & Polish once onto my fingers before distributing evenly in equal amounts on to a full face of make up. Making sure I leave the eye area till last, or things could get quite messy.
I then exfoliate using the accompanying Muslin Cloth with warm water, rinsing afterwards and repeating it if necessary.
Afterwards I use the Super-tonic Toner, it's herbly scented and gets rid of any stubborn last scrapes of make up. I'm currently using the spritzer version which sprays a very fine refreshing mist (- and a definite to pack in my case for my holiday next week).
I finish my Liz Earle love affair with their moisturiser in the combination/normal skin format, although they do have dry and oily versions available too.
Basics on. It's time to move on to eye-cream, a step I've always overlooked. Current choice is Origins "Ginzing". In truth I can't see any signs of reduced dark circles but it does layer nicely and is extremely lightweight. I'm determined to make a dent in the pot one small pea-sized amount at a time before purchasing something else (Suggestions on a better alternative would be greatly received).
For my night time routine I repeat the above stages but apply the moisturisers with a heavier hand to keep any dry patches at bay & finish with a layer of Carmex on my lips thrown on for good measure.
The results? Well I'm happy to report nasty blemishes are kept away, my skin looks far less red/blotchy, my make up application is far more even & my skin is super soft.
New year, New Skincare.

Liz Earle Summer 2011

I'm really sorry for the lack of uninteresting posts as of late. I've been busy concentrating on revising for my A Level exams and enjoying the current sunshine, which is unusual for the UK.
I have had these products a few weeks now and I absolutely love them. (I will be posting a review on them in a few days time!)
I have previously bought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Hot Cloth Cleaner a few months ago before I received this news letter, and I use it religiously when I wake up in the morning and before I go to sleep. (Sometimes I even use it a third time after college/work before I go out in the evening) I was nearing the end of my bottle and needed to reorder.
While flicking through the pages of the news letter it didn't take long for me to see how many good deals were being advertised, I quickly gave the catalogue to my mum to see if she wanted anything to order and it turned out that because of recommending her, I received a complimentary Essentials Try-Me Kit worth £22.25.
This came in a seperate order. The kit itself included the following:
♡ Zip Up Bag
♡ Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleaner 30ml
♡ Instant Boost Skin Tonic 50ml
♡ Skin Repair Moisturiser Normal/Combination 15ml
♡ Skin Repair Moisturiser Dry/Sensitive 15ml
♡ 1 Pure Muslin Cloth
I am going with my friends to Kos next month and this little kit bag is so travel friendly and will be perfect for my week away!

I'm really impressed with the personal touches that accompanied both orders. I really liked how each order was personally signed by whoever processed the order. One of the accompanied letters read "Our Company is founded on "Quality and Service" always and everyone involved is passionate abut offering first class service." I would also like to add that my order took less than 24 hours after ordering to be delivered, which was absolutely great.
The order came in a huge parcel which contained lots of foam protection. Each order came in its own box which looked like this - I think I had a total of 4 different ones!
Each individual item was also individually wrapped, printed with the Liz Earle Logo and sealed with a sticker.
This contained:
♡ Cleanse & Polish HotCloth Cleanser 100ml
♡ Instant Boost Skin Tonic 200ml
♡ Skin Repair Moisturiser 50ml
♡ 2 Pure Muslin Cloths

The bag also contained a free complimentary Skin-Savers Kit worth £16.10. This contained:
♡ Zip up Bag
♡  Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer - 30ml
♡ Skin Repair Moisturiser Dry/Sensitive - 15ml
♡ Superbalm - 5g
♡ Hand Repair Moisturiser 15ml

The Second parcel was again wrapped in the same style as the first box and contained the "Suncare Offer - £32.20"
This kit includes:
♡ Limited Edition Summer Tote Bag
♡ Mineral Sun Cream, Medium Protection - 150ml
♡ Sun Shade Botanical AfterSun Gel - 200ml
♡ Sheer Gold Shimmer- 15ml
♡ Sheer Pink Lip Lip Shimmer - 15ml

The quality of the Liz Earle brand also includes the travel bags that accompany the kits, I love how the logo of the company is stitched on to all the kit bags.
With this kit the bag is of exceptional quality, The bag is of a decent size, the material is really sturdy and thick, and the front pocket is water proof (I plan on taking this bag away with me when I go on holiday and plan on keeping my room key, phone and any necessities here making it is ideal to carry to the beach or hotel pool.
The bag closes with two magnets which is a really clever idea and makes it easy to open and shut when on the go.

I bought my boyfriend the "Mens Summer Offer - £38.50"
I haven't photographed this as It is a present for his birthday next week and I didn't want to open it.
The Kit Includes:
♡ Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - 100ml
♡ Sensitive Shave Cream - 100ml
♡ After Shaving Moisturiser - 50ml
♡ 2 Pure Muslin Cloths
FREE:
♡ Botanical shine Shampoo - 500ml
♡ Botaical Shine Conditioner  50ml

I would describe the prices as "affordable luxury" - by this I mean that the prices are a little bit more than any highstreet skin care products such as Simple or Clearasil, and can't be found in your local drug stores but are very purse friendly in comparison to the designer brands that we know and love!
I can't rate Liz Earle enough.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
Have you tried any of the Liz Earle products?
Are there any other products that you would recommend?
